Solar Buddy

Make a real difference while strengthening team bonds through the Gift of Light initiative, in partnership with SolarBuddy. This unique experience allows teams to directly impact children's lives by assembling solar-powered lamps for those living in energy poverty.

The hour-long session unfolds in three meaningful phases:

1. Learn: Teams gain insight into the reality of energy poverty and its impact on children's education and daily life. This awareness session helps participants understand how their contribution will make a tangible difference.

2. Make: Participants work together to assemble solar-powered lamps that will enable children to study after dark, share evening meals with family, and move safely at night. Each team member can personalize their lamp with a message for its future recipient, creating a personal connection with the project.

3. Illuminate: The completed lamps begin their journey to children in developing countries, where they'll transform evening hours into productive time for education and family life.

Since 2016, SolarBuddy has brightened the lives of nearly one million people across 19 countries. By participating in this initiative, your team becomes part of this global movement for change. Each lamp assembled represents a child's enhanced ability to study, learn, and build a brighter future.
